DVD, slideshow, editing, maker

hey everyone

Has anyone ever had to make a DVD slideshow before?
What programs are out there?

I have been asked to create a slideshow of images (possibly some video). I have currently downloaded 'imagination' from the AUR it is quite ok, it is very simple and easy like described but dosn't have as much control as i want. After a little playing around I don't think it is possible to control audio tracks very well, insert videos, or export directly to a DVD (or ISO). I have also tried bombono-dvd but it dosn't really do what i want.

I want to know if anyone has any experience, or knows any other programs that are worth looking at.

You have several possibilities.
I use openshot, kdenlive, then you can export them to the file you want.

thanks openshot and kdenlive seem pretty good, bit overkill for the small project.
