The operating system is not Archlinux, but I still hang around here from time to time so I though I share.
The window manager is dwm 5.8.2 with bstack, pertag, uselessgap and statuscolors patches applied.
The terminal is urxvt.
The editor that populates the entire screen is (obviously) emacs, thought that since it's with me all day (at work and at home), it should make the spotlight. There's not much customization visible because I don't have any (apart from the dwm colors). All my emacs configuration targets functionality, not eyecandy, so really not much to see.
The status bar only shows important info: CPU load, freespace on the main HDD (yes, I do need to get a bigger one at some point) and obviously the time. For some time now, I don't have any interest in any fancy "playing now", "weather", "ram info" stuff because I don't really need to know what song is playing at any given time, I use windows to check the weather and I have enough ram so I need not worry about it ever getting filled
All of the dwm config is visible in the screenshot, apart from 2 things: I added a Mod + s key binding to switch to the bstack layout and I disabled the EnterNotify event (so I can get click to select instead of focus follow mouse behavior).

don't worry mate, it's more about looking @ users desktop tweaks than a focus on distro.
I sometimes wanna share my minimal android homescreen screenshots. just for shits & giggles.

this looks slick. what is the window manager?
I always find myself too lazy anymore to try other WM's
started on twm, then kde, checked out gnome, didnt like kde nor gnome, fell in love with fluxbox, then head over-heels for WMii.
I do find PekWM pretty sweet, for it's box+tiling like feel.
but I always return to WMii it's like my window manager heroin. HOOKED!

@froli
Thanks. Here you go.
@el mariachi
For you, an ncmpcpp config.
@tacticalbread
For you, a colourscript.

Here is my current setup, finally got XMonad and everything else configured in a nice way. I'm thinking about doing some color changes, but I kind of like it how it is.
Edit: Sorry about that, grabbed the wrong tag from imgur

After giving up KDE a couple months ago, I've finally settled on Awesome. As usual, I've been working on the status bar over time (Vicous is... well, awesome), but whatever. I'm also in a "retro" mood, so...

That's a very nice Japanese font! I'm only just starting to learn how to read it, care to share that font? I'd love it if reading Japanese on my screen doesn't make me cringe because of the bitmap font mixed with my aliased fonts anymore....

Something I cooked up. As usual. Openbox, with some simple mods to the excellent Arkid, and Fundamental Round 2.
