pacman takes a REALLY long time to sync databases before an inst/upgrd

Why is this occuring?

If I need to post up anything, ask. There doesnt seem to be anything strange going on when I do pacman -Syuv --debug.

Which mirror are you using?  Have you tried different mirrors?

Try to use multi-mirrors.Maybe arial2c,axel or powerpill can help you.
