Hello all,
I am trying to burn a DVD to iso so I can rip it to my multimedia server, Using arch64 and Xfce, thunar appears to recognize the DVD, but when I click on it to open, I get the error:
Failed to mount Not authorized.
I've done a quick search, but couldn't understand it. Could someone help dumb that down? I've always used Gnome, so this is new to me.
Any help is appreciated

Your user should be in some groups.
gpasswd -a YOUR_USERNAME optical
gpasswd -a YOUR_USERNAME storage
Restart gdm and try once again.

Here is a list of the groups my users belongs to:
lp wheel games video audio optical storage power users
Also, I have drive icons (windows partition drives) on my desktop that I get the same error message on.
I never saw this with Gnome, but am now with my XFCE build.
Is this a XFCE issue, or a Arch configuration issue?

I added dbus-launch in my .xinitrc file.
I also have dbus in my rc.conf file.
Should I have to have dbus in both places? if so, what's the difference?

I have dbus in rc.conf only. As always.
