[SOLVED]Recreating packages from installed files?

Just a simple question. Suppose I do this:

pacman -U pkg-foo.tar.xz
# it installs successfully
rm pkg-foo.tar.xz

Is there a way to recreate the package file from the installed files and metadata on the system?

Sorry if this is obvious, but I can't find anything on it.

bacman pkg-foo from pacman-contrib

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
