That kid looks freaky just sitting there expressionless during the entire thing. Though if they have an entire series of these commercials it could be interesting.

If you look closely enough at it, I think you'll find that it's IBM's way of flipping SCO off. Old, wise men in business suits protecting the little child that is Linux.

It is, at the least, nice to see a large company like IBM publicly show their commitment to the future of Linux and open source.

yes,  but it's not the only big company behind linux: have a look at the bottom of the www.kernel.org page --- you can find HP there :-)

... i heard that there are 3 more spots of ibm for linux ... but i cant find them on the internet (one should have a basketball-player in it --- anyone knows more?)
