Gnome wont load as normal user.

Pretty much what the title says. It runs fine as root but when i type startx as a normal user it just shows my wallpaper.  Anyone know a solution?

You might look into the .xsession-errors file at your home directory and post the recent error messages in this thread. Maybe that helps for locating the problem.
