xorg configuration

I would like to get xorg configured much better than it is now.  I didn't have to run xconfig or xorg configure or anything, it worked directly after I installed the package.  I remember hearing something about hwd command or something like that which configures it automatically very well or something like that?  How do i get that set up?

Re: xorg configuration

if you haven't already done it run pacman -S hwd first to install and then run hwd without any options and it will list them.
