Frankly, I am not a fan of xscreensaver's lock screen in Arch.

Is there any way to make it look the way it looks in ubuntu?

Well, there's xscreensaver-arch-logo in the AUR, which looks a little prettier. But not by much.
Isn't the second screenshot of gnome-screensaver, not xscreensaver?

I am actually using -arch-logo. Not much of a difference.
I am not sure what the second screen is. I just typed ubuntu xscreensaver in google pics.

Well, yeah, that's definitely gnome-screensaver, not xscreensaver.
xscreensaver doesn't use a toolkit like GTK or Qt, so it can look out of place. The most you can do is try to emulate that look by going into your .Xdefaults or .Xresources and doing the stuff mentioned here.
