hey all,
At installing gub2-bios I should copy unicode.pf2 & ascii.pf2 to /boot/grub/, but ascii.pf2 doesn't exist! Does it matter?
# modprobe dm-mod
# grub_bios-install --boot-directory=/boot --no-floppy --recheck /dev/sda
# cp /usr/share/grub/{unicode.pf2,ascii.pf2} /boot/grub/
[edit]
After finishing the install I made a reboot, it works fine - but there is no logo (Archlogo or Tux) at the beginning, just 4 lines describing /sbin/modprobe.
Something like (output of '/sbin/modprobe --help'):
Usage: /sbin/modprobe [-v] [-V] [-C config-file] [-d <dirname> ] [-n] [-i] [-q] [-b] [-o <modname>] [ --dump-modversions ] <modname> [parameters...]
/sbin/modprobe -r [-n] [-i] [-v] <modulename> ...
/sbin/modprobe -l -t <dirname> [ -a <modulename> ...
!!! I also updated the kernel and other stuff!!!
any ideas?
