Change shortcuts in Gedit 3?

I'd like to change the shortcut for switching tabs in Gedit to ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab.  I found a few plugins that let you change the shortcuts, but they don't seem to work in Gedit 3.  Has anyone been able to find a plugin that lets you do this for Gedit 3?

Thanks!

Re: Change shortcuts in Gedit 3?

You can change it on the fly as in:
hover over the item in the menu, press DEL key and then press a key combination to assign it to the selected entry.

If that fails, look here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GN … cels_fails

Re: Change shortcuts in Gedit 3?

It's not a menuitem I want to change the shortcut for though, it's the shortcut for switching tabs.  I looked in ~/.gnome2/accels, but there was no file for gedit.  Should I create one, or will it not work?

Re: Change shortcuts in Gedit 3?

Oh, I was sure there would be a menu item entry for this, sorry.
If it's not in the menu item then there's no point creating the accels file.

Maybe in time those plugins you talked about would get bumped, atm I think you can't do it
