Who has got an USB-3.0 PCI-E card working? Which one?

I can't get this one to work with a WD MyBook Essential USB-3.0 external hard disk:

USB-2.0 devices work on it, btw and the hard disk works on an USB-2.0 port. I have tried to search the forums and google a solution, but to no avail.
This is the dmesg output:

[ 6383.586074] usb 1-2: new high speed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd
[ 6383.786581] usb 1-2: Device not responding to set address.
