rtorrent with magnet link support

Hello

I just installed rtorrent + rutorrent (using web gui) on my Arch box.

Everything is OK and I'm happy

But, I would like to know is it possible to use rtorrent for magnet links?
May be some kind of patch or special build from svn must be done?

Can you recommend some other remote torrent client together with application for Web GUI.

There are some patched rtorrent builds in the AUR, see if they have what you want.

AFAIK rtorrent doesn't work with magnet links.

You can try transmission. It has web gui, qt frontend, gtk frontend, console frontend and it accepts magnet links.

Edit: Oh my bad. In fact, rtorrent does manage magnet links since version 0.8.7 since I'm not mistaking. see: http://libtorrent.rakshasa.no/ticket/2100

I just installed transmission-cli.
I stopped rtorrent daemon and start transmissiond daemon. It works wonderful at all.

I test it using "Transmission Remote GUI" on my Windows XP box.
Now, I have to find proper remote gui for Arch. May be from AUR.
