[SOLVED]Shutdown process is very sluggish in KDE 4.6.5

Eever since my recent upgrade to KDE 4.6.5, the shutdown process has slowed down considerably. It takes a lot time to exit the GUI before running the shutdown script. Where do I begin in order to identify the cause the problem? logs? Or something else?

Changing the StartServer line in .conf/akonadi/akonadiserverrc to the following worked for me:

StartServer=false
