Display Hotplugging with xrandr?

So I created a simple bash script using xrandr so that when I plug my laptop into my TV (via HDMI) it turns the laptop lcd off and the tv output on, and vise versa when I unplug it.  The only problem I am having if figuring out how to call this script when needed.  I currently have it set to execute on boot and also tied to a hotkey and works like it should, pushing the display to the correct monitor.  So how do I automatically call the script on HDMI insertion/removal?

Thanks
