My archlinux worked fine several months ago. I finished corectlly my work as user yesterday (only web browsing, nothing more) and today I am not able login as user, only as root. Where can be the problem, where I must find at first?
Archlinux + openbox + slim

Can you login as a user from a tty or is the problem just with slim? What is the exact error message?

Can you see your user in
/etc/shadow
?

Check to see if any of your disks/partitions are full. If there's no space on your root partition, X won't even start (and will usually complain about not being any to prepare fonts or something like that). Your problem sounds like your /home partition is full.

More likely / or /tmp is full

There was no space on disc. I am using /home from other distro in dualboot, there is big free place, but in archlinux /root was no place.
Thank for all.
