Hi there!
I have mouse and keyboard connected to my computer via a USB hub. Whenever I power up my computer, only the mouse works (at kdm, that is). So to enter my password, I have to unplug the hub and plug it in again. I doubt this is a hardware issue, since:
- I've tried two different hubs, including a brandnew one
- after this one issue, both hub and keyboard work perfectly fine until the next reboot
- the mouse always works fine
Does anybody have an idea where to start debugging this issue?
Best wishes,
Rufus

Perhaps you need ....usbinput.....in mkinitcpio....

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think you missed an important bit: the mouse (also connected to the USB hub) works fine. So I don't think it's a matter of kernel support, but rather some udev issue.
I may be wrong, so maybe someone more knowledgeable can clarify this?

Try re-install kernel26

Hm. Looks like it actually *was* a kernel issue. At least it seems to be gone after I've upgraded my system a couple of days ago...
