I tried to look at the default kernelconfig and did I understand correctly that CONFIG_ATH9K_PCI is disabled?

Line 1970, x86_64 config file for 3.0:

CONFIG_ATH9K_PCI=y

And:

$ zgrep CONFIG_ATH9K_PCI /proc/config.gz
$ uname -r
2.6.39-ARCH

No such thing as CONFIG_ATH9K_PCI in 2.6.39 wink.

It's ok. I already saw it enabled in the git repository.

I requested an AUR for the realtime patch: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 91#p964791

Re: no posts about kernel 3.0 yet?

This PKG entered [testing] - interesting to see that apparently, there isn't an ARCH patchset with this series...

source=(ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0/linux-${_basekernel}.tar.bz2
        #ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0/patch-${pkgver}.bz2
        # the main kernel config files
        config config.x86_64
        # standard config files for mkinitcpio ramdisk
        ${pkgname}.preset
        fix-i915.patch)

Another simple kernel upgrade thanks to the Arch team. I didn't even have to upgrade syslinux.cfg right away. I did, but I didn't have to. Sweet.
