Hi,
I've done something to my config and now only one application at the time can use sound. It used to be OK.
Configuration: laptop sony vaio
Modules loaded in /etc/rc.conf:
!snd_pcsp snd-mixer-oss snd-pcm-oss snd-hwdep snd-page-alloc snd-pcm snd-timer snd snd-hda-intel soundcore
modules loaded:
snd_hda_codec_hdmi 20368 1
snd_hda_codec_realtek 225687 1
snd_hda_intel 19261 3
snd_pcm_oss 33824 1
snd_hda_codec 66665 3 snd_hda_codec_hdmi,snd_hda_codec_realtek,snd_hda_intel
snd_hwdep 4919 1 snd_hda_codec
snd_pcm 60311 4 snd_hda_codec_hdmi,snd_hda_intel,snd_hda_codec,snd_pcm_oss
snd_timer 15542 1 snd_pcm
snd_mixer_oss 12783 1 snd_pcm_oss
snd 43399 13 snd_hda_codec_hdmi,snd_hda_codec_realtek,snd_hda_intel,snd_hda_codec,snd_pcm_oss,snd_hwdep,snd_pcm,snd_timer,snd_mixer_oss
snd_page_alloc 5909 2 snd_hda_intel,snd_pcm
soundcore 5018 2 snd
no idea where to start looking for problems
I've read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Alsa but it does not help much
this problem is not related to any application - all behave the same way: if one takes sound any other is silent
Thanks for help in advance

With regard to ' !snd_pcsp' - you can't blacklist modules in /etc/rc.conf anymore https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Mo … acklisting
