GNOME3 on AMD C-50 APU, Aspire One D722

Dear Arch Users.

I've been asked by a friend of mine to choose a netbook for her. And after a long search, the bottom line choice I'm facing is whether to get an Intel Atom N570 (with integrated Intel graphics) or to get this new AMD C-50 Fusion with integrated Radeon 6250.

My question is... Will that C-50 work smooth on Arch? I've been looking this up on google and I've found some contradictory opinions. Some say, that everything works out of the box, while others point out occasional situations, in which they e.g. weren't able to set up X's to work properly. What problems should I expect (if any) and are they "solveable"? I'm asking strictly about the graphics ("Will I be able to get GNOME runnig?"), not the audio (which I already know is problematic). Because otherwise I will get her that N570 model, which I guess will work as a charm.

Best regards!

I don't have a Fusion APU but it should work fine.
But I would not buy the C-50 one because it has only 1GHz and it isn't really cheaper than the E-350.

Thank you, for your advice Radioactiveman, but it turned out that she's bought herself a Lenovo Y450, so the topic just got unimportant.
