WebGL no working using Intel GMA 4500MHD (sandy bridge)

So I'm not able to use hardware acceleration in any browser. In firefox it's disabled by default, but, if i override that limitation, I get segmentation faults in terminal when running WebGL content.
In chrome I was unable to get it working too. I have Core i3 CPU with Intel GMA 4500MHD (somtimes called Intel GMA HD). Mesa and xorg drivers are latest from [testing] (stable drivers act the same). On Windows it's fine, so the card is capable running it, but I dont understand what's wrong in arch.
By the way when i'm under desktop environment glxgears looks kinda laggy (with stable drivers same), but the output in terminal shows good fps. Under simple xdg glxgears looks fine. Overall graphics performance is working (it's not fast, but it's working for sure), only WebGL isn't working.

http://demos.hacks.mozilla.org/openweb/HWACCEL/
Firefox gives ~50fps
Chromium gives ~15fps
But they both throw errors when running WebGL content like... your browser is capable, but your drivers aren't...
For example this didn't work http://alteredqualia.com/three/examples … skull.html
Now I tested latest Firefox 6 beta which gave this on launch:

Can't find symbol 'glXBindTexImageEXT'
Can't find symbol 'glXReleaseTexImageEXT'

...and WebGL still didn't work...

[kellerman@km-laptop ~]$ glxinfo | grep string
server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.4
client glx vendor string: Mesa Project and SGI
client glx version string: 1.4
OpenGL vendor string: Tungsten Graphics, Inc
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) Ironlake Mobile
OpenGL version string: 1.4 (2.1 Mesa 7.10.3)

Similar (though not the same) issue here. Help would be appreciated.

The title of this thread makes no sense. GMA 4500MHD is a totally different graphics chip than Sandy Bridge. They're two generations apart.

I always thought 4500 was sandy, what's it's codename then?

Re: WebGL no working using Intel GMA 4500MHD (sandy bridge)

Sandy Bridge graphics is either HD2000 or HD3000, no "GMA" anywhere. It's predecessor is Ironlake (integrated into Clarkdale/Arrandale processors) and is simply Intel HD Graphics, no "GMA" and no number anywhere.

Before Ironlake there was GMA X4500(HD) for desktops and GMA 4500M(HD) for laptops. Codename Eaglelake. The HD variants have hardware video decoding, the non-HD 4500 variants do not.

Thank you Gusar! So I have an Eaglelake (GMA 4500MHD which is supposed to have hardware video decoding) thank you for clearing that up!
