[kernel 3.0] verbose boot?

Hi Testers, I'm running linux 3.0 ,so far so good.. One thing I noticed, where the verbose kernel boot messages are gone?
I'm not using 'quiet' in menu.lst but the result is no kernel messages by default it seems..
Any hints?
thanks

Please subscribe to and read arch-dev-public. We've discussed this quite a lot recently, leading to what you're seeing.

The thread you want to read is at http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/ … 21086.html

Hmm, but it looks like Pipermail cut off lots of important words (bug?) during the HTML conversion, so you'll have to download the July text archive here: http://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/ … 1-July.txt
