[SOLVED] - acpid daemon needs to be restarted after boot
Hi I have arch 2.6.39. I recently reinstalled my arch x86_64. After reinstallation I introduced the acpi events in the handler.sh file to turn off/on monintor when lid is closed. These don't work if I reboot the computer. I need the restart the daemon after a reboot to make those events active again.
My DAEMON array is as:
DAEMONS=(syslog-ng acpid netfs crond dbus alsa bluetooth @cpufreq)
I even tried bacgrounding acpid, that didn't work.

I also tried loading the relevant kernel module (button) manually by adding it to the MODULES array in rc.conf.
Didn't work.
Still looking for a solution.
