[kernel 3.0] Transfering via usb Fails
When transferring files to a usb device it copys a little bit then fails, i get a heap of IO errors in DMESG, then i loose usb all together and have to reboot my machine to bring it back?
This is for larger files at around 300 meg, if i roll back to the 2.6.39 kernel all is well no issues.

no one else come across this problem?
I have a feeling it might be becuas eof new hardware as my other mahcine is fine.
The machine that it freezes on has the 990FX chipset.
