dmesg tells me that I have two versions of udev running.
dmesg | grep -i udev
udevd[74]: starting version 172
udevd[247]: starting version 173
This is not normal behavior is it? Maybe some bug?
Edit: Kernel is 3.0-2

I can confirm the same behaviour here, but I don't know if its really an issue or not .

Rebuild your initramfs.
I'm not shore how to rebuild initramfs. Do you mean :
# mkinitcpio -p vmlinuz-linux
For kernel 3.0-2?

I think calling kernel26 should work as there are compatibility symlinks for /boot.

Ok. But I have changed grub to boot kernel 3.0 with vmlinuz-linux and initramfs-linux.img.
So "mkinitcpio -p vmlinuz-linux" must be right.

Ahh, I was to fast!
Maybe this is better "mkinitcpio -p /etc/mkinitcpio.d/linux.preset"

In this case 'mkinitcpio -p linux' should work.

I guess -p needs the name of the file in /etc/mkinitcpio.d/ you want to use.

Either will work, the earlier option being a recent feature
