Created my own Arch DVD... Pacman ate too much?

Okay, so it took me a week but I've finally got all 1533 packages to pass dependency check during install... the only problem I have encountered is the following during the actual package installation:

/tmp/pacman: too many files open

DAMN! hehehe. So close yet so far away! sad

Kernel install went fine even without the packages installed so at least that works smile

everything is up to date as of 5 days ago, I only wish pacman didn't have this limit... does anyone know what exactly the limit is?

If its out there, I'll sniff it

The limit is set in /etc/security/limits.conf. There's more info in the file.
