Include Google Talk in the Messaging area of the Profile Editor?

Just a thought, since I see Jabber, ICQ, MSN, AIM, & YIM included.

Having my Google Talk handle in the same section would be quite nice. I'd make the edit myself, but I don't have the authorization to do that.

Also, my apologies if this is in the wrong place.

Arch doesn't patch upstream code, so this request should go to fluxbb devs. There's one such request already open https://fluxbb.org/development/core/tickets/59/

Yet google adds to the standard with their implementation. I do not know if standard jabber clients can talk directly with google talk clients (probably standard chat works, at least), but they're not REALLY the same thing.

I have no problem talking to Google users using jabber. Afaik even video-chat should work.

They mess up a few things. For one, the ”resource” string; google places some random characters. Video chat didn't work for me.
