kernel panic (oops) with BCM4313

Hi everyone...
I'm experiencing what seems to be random kernel panics...
They seem to be caused by the wifi driver though (considering the call trace) and might happen under heavy load though I'm not sure of that (how could I check ? )

here is what lspci tells me about my network controller :
02:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4313 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN Controller (rev 01)

and uname -r : 2.6.39-ARCH

if you guys have any idea ...

thank you

(oops, didn't see this post https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=111554&p=5 ... tjbp seems to be experiencing the same issue ... sry )

Re: kernel panic (oops) with BCM4313

Just try kernel 3.0.1 in core repo,

sudo pacman -Sy core/linux

I am using Dell-Zino with the same card,  it works well if you put brcmsmac into /etc/rc.conf modules section.

Please be ware of kernel filename change since kernel 3.0.1, check this news: http://www.archlinux.org/news/changes-t … filenames/
