nvidia-driver 4496 error

installing the latest driver reports this error

depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/drivers/atm/he.o
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in /lib/modules/2.4.22/kernel/drivers/i2c/scx200_i2c.o

but nvidia splash screen appears appears after setting Driver to nvidia. Good
gltron works. Good.


my card is geforce2 mx400


Off to using Peanut and Slackware, no hard feelings but I need my CD to burn, PDA and scanner to connect and arch won't do it.

yes i got this error too. i am not sure why though. it does not affect the drivers though.

i will have to take a look at the kernel source to see what is causing this.

Those modules are part of the kernel package and shouldn't affect the nvidia module at all..  You can ignore that message (unless you actually use the scx200_i2c or he drivers).
