How can I "activate" menu://applications/ in pcmanfm

So i had a few issues and decided to reinstall arch and start fresh. 8 hours later I'm sitting back where I was before without issues this time. One of the few things remaining is the applications that used to show up in this location in pcmanfm. They were there when I first installed it last time, but I have no idea what was used to make a list of the applications. Is it some sort of xdg menu? Anyone know?
