uvcvideo module not working correctly with new kernel

With the kernel 3 the uvcvideo module doesn't work correctly. I see the problem while booting, right after udev starts, but after booting the module is listed as loaded with lsmod. Removing it and reloading it makes the laptop camera work. Anyway, I added an entry in rc.conf and now it works fine after boot, but I was wondering if anybody else has this issue.

Yeah, in fact I just came across the very same issue. Only reloading the uvcvideo module helps, just like you described.
