I load wl module to get the wireless working.
The first problem is that thought the wireless works, its detected as eth1.(which is damn odd).
Secondly, when I resume from sleep, the eth0 (the real ethernet) & eth1(wireless) gets swapped.
How can solve these issues?

Used the udev method by creating this file /etc/udev/rules.d/10-network.rules with contents
SUBSYSTEM=="net", ATTR{address}=="mac-addr1", NAME="eth0"
SUBSYSTEM=="net", ATTR{address}=="mac-addr2", NAME="wlan0"
to solve the problem. Thanks.
