So, until recently my computer was fine, but then one day when i restarted the computer it got stuck during boot with the only bussy step as "Checking Filesystem", so now there is no way to boot into arch. Is there anyway to fix this or at least skip the step?

ctrl c will cancel the check ( just tried it in my boot up). I would do a check as soon as you get it running to make sure there are no disk problems.

I did not know that. It always seems that the periodic check happens when I need a fast reboot.
Thanks

Did you modify any system files recently, such as /etc/fstab? Does it print out anything else after [BUSY]? If your grub is standard, then you might still be able to access the recovery shell after a reboot. From there you should be able to perform basic commands. Make sure to check /var/log/boot for anything unusual.
Also, try removing external media such as usb sticks.
EDIT: @livinglifeback: Awesome! Did not know that either!
