kernel3.0 crash

Hi

I'm not sure if it is related to the updates I applied last week, but yesterday our LEIA server became unresponsive... mostly.

It is running a BIND service which was still responsive, pings were also responsive but all the other services were not (Samba,Java application, SSH,...).

The only thing I managed to grasp on the serial connection is a couple of messages about hung tasks, which unfortunately I did not copy down.

At the time there was a big copy going on through samba, not sure if it is related.

I managed to get some output from dmesg once I force restarted the system, which mentions error_code+0x67/0x6c a few times. I found some articles on this forum about this error, but none seem to relate to the version of udev which is installed on this server (173-3).

System is a HP PROLIANT DL 140, Intel Xeon 3.06Ghz (32 bit), 3GiB RAM, running Arch Linux, kernel 3.0
