[solved] How can I use Option GlobeTrotter Express 7.2 ExpressCard?

Hi!

I have an Option GlobeTrotter Express 7.2 ExpressCard (GE0201). I wanted to use it as a modem, but I can't.
I tried first with HsoConnect, the hso module is loaded, but the program's Connect button is inactive. Also I don't have /dev/ttyHS*, but only /dev/ttyUSB[0-2]. I removed the option module but no luck. I inserted OpenDNS nameservers to /etc/resolv.conf, but didn't worked. I added my user to network group, but didn't helped. I read the Wiki article about HsoConnect, but found nothing useful.
I tried to modify the line KERNEL=="ttyHS[0-9]*", NAME="%k", GROUP="network", MODE="0660" to KERNEL=="ttyUSB[0-9]*", NAME="%k", GROUP="uucp", MODE="0660" in the file /etc/udev/rules.d/51-hso-udev.rules, but didn't helped.
Than I tried comgt. It can activate the modem, asks the PIN and connects. The modem displays 3G connection, it's online. But I have no connecton on my notebook. I removed option module again (it's always reloaded, even if I blacklist it), but after that comgt didn't worked.

What should I do?

Here is the /var/log/messages.log content for the connection of the modem:
Aug 17 17:03:31 lynx kernel: [ 3350.316465] usb 4-2: new full speed USB device number 8 using uhci_hcd

Aug 17 17:03:31 lynx kernel: [ 3350.478345] usb 4-2: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB0
Aug 17 17:03:31 lynx kernel: [ 3350.480190] option 4-2:1.1: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected
Aug 17 17:03:31 lynx kernel: [ 3350.480306] usb 4-2: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB1
Aug 17 17:03:31 lynx kernel: [ 3350.482185] option 4-2:1.2: GSM modem (1-port) converter detected
Aug 17 17:03:31 lynx kernel: [ 3350.482297] usb 4-2: GSM modem (1-port) converter now attached to ttyUSB2
Aug 17 17:03:31 lynx mtp-probe: checking bus 4, device 8: "/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1a.1/usb4/4-2"
Aug 17 17:03:31 lynx mtp-probe: bus: 4, device: 8 was not an MTP device

I tried networkmanager, too, but it's not working, moreover it's instable, it's always dropping any WLAN connections, so I use wicd instead.

What, so everyone's supposed to sleep every single night now? You realize that nighttime makes up half of all time?

I compiled a kernel without the option module.. but didn't helped, without it nothing recognizes the modem.

Re: [solved] How can I use Option GlobeTrotter Express 7.2 ExpressCard?

I made it!
I had to forget hso, just use comgt and wvdial.
I typed comgt, give the password, then start wvdial. This is my /etc/wvdial.conf:

[Dialer Defaults]
Init1 = ATZ
Stupid Mode = off
Abort on No Dialtone = on
Modem = /dev/ttyUSB0
Check Def Route = on
Phone = *99#
Idle Seconds = 0
Abort on Busy = off
Modem Type = Analog Modem
Baud = 9600
Dial Command = ATM1L3DT
Dial Attempts = 1
Ask Password = off
Init = ATZ
ISDN = 0
Init3 = AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet"
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
Carrier Check = on
Auto Reconnect = on
APN = internet
Password = t-mobile
Username = t-mobile

I don't have to use password or username, but wvdial requires it. And it's working. I suffered with this two whole days and the solution was incredibly easy. I aged six years this time.

The only problem is that I can't read SMS.
