Re: kernel-atom-ck

@spookyln - Would you be willing to run a test for me?  Please post into the thread that karol posted.

...in the meantime, I want to rule out the cause of this (if real) as being the modified make line in the PKGBUILD

make ${MAKEFLAGS} KCFLAGS="-march=native -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2" KCPPFLAGS="-march=native -O2 -pipe -fstack-protector --param=ssp-buffer-size=4 -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2" bzImage modules

I will therefore build up a custom-custom smile linux-ck-atom-spookyln just for you to try out that will lack the extra KCFLAGS/KCPPFLAGS and just have the standard make line. Give me 15 min or so to compile and upload.  I will post in this thread with a d/l link for you.

Re: kernel-atom-ck

OK... here is the package that should conflict with linux-ck-atom so you probably do not need to remove it first.  Install it like this:

# pacman -U http://repo-ck.com/i686/linux-ck-atom-spookyln-3.0.3-4-i686.pkg.tar.xz

You should not need to update grub or grub2.  A reboot should do it.

Note that I didn't build the nvidia package so if you need it, you'll have to pull it out of the AUR and make sure you comment out the depends line in the PKGBUILD or else it will try to pull down the linux-ck (generic) from the repo.  Also, if you need the headers, they are there as well @ http://repo-ck.com/i686/linux-ck-atom-s … pkg.tar.xz
