It won't load at all, after I run GDM and login my mouse appears but that's it. I've left it for 10 minutes and still nothing appeared, no HDD activity either. I've reinstalled gnome and gnome-extra twice, and that hasn't fixed it. I'm using the Catalyst driver, I can't use the open-source one due to issues with sound over HDMI. Any help appreciated.
