matlab launcher

hi to everybody,

i have matlab installed on my system, everything works fine, except for the launcher
because no "official" launcher were installed i create it manually. following an ubuntu wiki i created a .desktop file and i've put it into

/usr/share/applications

the launcher itself works, if i click in the icon from gnome , matlab starts
BUT when i click over the icon matlab starts and another icon is launched.....

how can i fix it ?

thanks

Re: matlab launcher

That is not a Matlab issue, that's an issue with whatever dock you have there.

Good, now go search for information about gnome3 and how it displays icons. Don't be this.

And I have told you it is not (not the way you think it is). If it was, you'd have to ask Mathworks.
