[Gnome 3] Long delay after login

Hi guys,

I experience a delay of about 15 seconds before the system begins to start the gnome-shell after I had logged in through GDM. During that time the system doesn't seem to work. At least the hard drive is not.

Can you confirm that behaviour?

The dbus subsystem isn't starting. You might want to add that to your DAEMONS to start on boot or check to see why it isn't starting.

I added dbus to my daemon array in rc.conf. Shouldn't that be enough to start dbus?
