Hello all,
I am happy user of Awesome- until recent hardware changes everything worked fine. I purchased Displaylink device and configured it to serve as second graphic card. My setup is following- Intel servers LVDS1 and DVI1. Displaylink servers another monitor.
I have two screens configured in xorg.conf- and this is a must. So basically everything works great.
Current issues with Awesome:
-tags don't work- chromium should open on WWW always but opens on any others tag; this is non application specific. The same goes for mplayer, okular etc.
-in previous setup only for Intel and two screens I got separate tags list for each screen- that was helpful as I could maximize window only on each screen by Meta+M. Now the tags list is common for both LVDS1 and DVI1 so if I maximez a window it gets stretched on both monitors- very unhelpful.
Did you find the same or do you know how to solve it? I can provide screenshots and rc.lua.
