If this is not the right sub-forum, please post it where it should go.
I've spent all morning trying to create a Flyspray account so I could post a bug and possible fix for gcolor2.
At the moment I'm pretty fed up with it but here goes.
I registered as usual and received a confirmation email. I then confirmed it and created a password. When I go to log on it keeps giving me either a error 12 (magic cookie not valid) or an error 7 (wrong password) when I try to log in. I'm a security freak so I took these steps thinking it might be the culprit.
Disabled:
Noscript (completely)
Adblock Plus (completely)
Privoxy
Stylish
and I allowed third-party cookies.
I tried to reset my password and after doing the above I finally managed to get to the change password screen for once. After changing my password (and strolling quite naked, for me anyway, on the net) it still pops up an error 7 (wrong password) when I try to login.
[rant] I have(had) no issues with either an AUR account or the forums here with any of my security but this is ridiculous! [\rant]
Anyway, if anybody has any ideals I would be appreciative. I found out gcolor2 is not building anymore and found a simple fix and I would like to post it appropriately to the Bug section.
Thanks

In solving a problem of this sort, the grand thing is to be able to reason backward. That is a very useful accomplishment, and a very easy one, but people do not practice it much. In the everyday affairs of life it is more useful to reason forward, and so the other comes to be neglected. Have you tried a different browser and/or internet connection?

Thanks for the response bluewind!
I actually got it. I turned everything off again and figured out my email provider mangled the link (which was part of the issue). I again made it to the change password screen and changed my password and was able to log in. Alas it seems that gcolor2 is a community project and not supported in the bug section so I will have to go figure out where to post bugs for community projects.
I think in hindsight the passwords I was choosing might have been part of the blame. I was using a password generator and made some pretty obscene passwords. Perhaps a little to over-the-top for Flyspray.
Anyway thanks for the suggestion. I marked this thread SOLVED!

Go to http://www.archlinux.org/packages/commu … 6/gcolor2/, in the top righthand corner you have a box labeled 'Package Actions', where you can find useful links, like 'Bug Reports' or 'Add New Bug' - try them out.

Thanks for the info falconindy. I actually went ahead and posted it before I saw your response. It was moved for me so all is good. Thanks for letting me know where it's so I can get it right in the future.
Edit: Thanks to you too Karol! I ran across that feature and that's why I went ahead and posted. Now that I know where to click implicitly, all should be good.
