Gnome Shell + Catalyst

As it is known Catalyst doesn't get well with Gnome Shell. That wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't a gamer but unfortunately for me, I am. So the question is, does the latest version of Catalyst fixes the compatibility with Gnome Shell? And if not, do we know when this is going to happen?
