Error w/PDF Mod: cannot handle iref streams?

Hello! I just downloaded PDF Mod from the repos, but now I'm having trouble opening my PDFs. I get this when I run PDF Mod in the terminal: 

Caught an exception - PdfSharp.Pdf.IO.PdfReaderException: Cannot handle iref streams. The current implementation of PDFsharp cannot handle this PDF feature introduced with Acrobat 6. (in `PdfSharp')

It seems that PDF Mod is using PDFsharp which can't handle the internal environment of PDFs made with Adobe 6.0 and higher. Does anyone know a workaround? I'd really like to use PDF Mod as it seems like a nice graphical way to modify PDFs, but this is rather annoying.

Additionally, does anyone know any other PDF modifying programs? I'm using Arch Linux w/Gnome 3.
