USB printers doesn't detects on CUPS [SOLVED]

hi for all, i'm archlinux new user, i installed archlinux correctly, but i have a problem with USB Printers (Canon MP495 and Epson Stylus Color 740i) in this distro.
I have CUPS-1.5.0, gutenprint-5.2.7-2, foomatic-db-1:4.0.7_20110707-1, foomatic-db-engine-1:4.0.7_20110707-1, foomatic-db-nonfree-1:4.0.7_20110707-1, foomatic-filters-1:4.0.7_20110707-1, udev-173-3, kernel 3.0-arch (settings default) installed on my system.
i typed on the terminal lsusb command, and my printers appears correctly, but when i went set up the printers on CUPS web (http://locahost:631) as user and as root, but can't install it because my printers doesn't detect .
I tried to install my printers on kde and gnome's utilities, but doesn't detects it, even as root.
I looking for udev rules on /etc/udev/rules.d, but the folder is empty. I added the printer rules on udev following the archlinux CUPS Guide, but the error persists.
I disabled usblp module on /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf and I added "blacklist usblp" line on the file, I reboot the system, but the error persists!
Neither detects the Canon MP495's scanner on sane, but i tried to install a Afga Scanwise 1212u and detected it correctly.
I tried to install the printers on debian and gentoo and it works perfectly.

If someone know to resolve this problem, i would be grateful so much if you help me to resolve it

Re: USB printers doesn't detects on CUPS [SOLVED]

warning:Newbie's answer. I sucessfully connected a HP Printer a couple of days ago. At first my GNOME desktop can't detect it automatically. I used 'hptal-init', downloaded from the repository and put it in rc.conf before cups.

hptal-init enables detection of usb devices I believe at boot. So it's just a matter of saving the default printer settings in the GNOME printing gui.

Re: USB printers doesn't detects on CUPS [SOLVED]

Yupi, now it works!! I readed a bit more in the archlinux CUPS guide, and i found this: "...USB printer users may need to blacklist the usblp module. Keep in mind that there seems to be a lot of uncertainty regarding blacklisting usblp, as some USB printers, including some Canon and Epson printer series, are not recognized without it. Several user reported issues with Samsung printers when using cups with blacklisted usblp module, the solution was to re-enable usblp and install cups-usblp from aur instead of regular cups package (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=778104) ...",
As first step, i uninstalled cups and after this, i installed the cups-usblp.
Then, after to restart the system, the printers works perfectly
