Using bluetooth headset with kde pulseaudio

Hi,

I just got to test a bluetooth headset with my arch. Pairing works fine, audio device detected, appears in multimedia in kde settings.
But here it ends. It's grayed out. I can't make it preference. All how-tos only seem to be out of data (in the arch wiki it's even stated twice, so I'm not sure, which exactly are out-of-date). I still tried them and a few recommended scripts which came up on google. Nothing worked.

But in my oppinion, it shouldn't be too complicated. I got this far, maybe only a package is missing!?
Can anyone help or has a updated HowTo?

Thanks in advance!
André

Re: Using bluetooth headset with kde pulseaudio

I don't know what's the problem, but whenever I have problems with KDE's Phonon and Pulseaudio, I always fallback to pavucontrol - you may try to enable your device from there. Good luck!

Re: Using bluetooth headset with kde pulseaudio

Hi,

I also tried this, didn't work. It does not even display the BT headset as possible output.
The problem in the KDE sound settings is, that the Headset is displayed as output, but grayed out, so I can't select it as default. I thought, maybe some other package is missing!?
