[thunar] Recently used & search function

Hello guys,

two smaller issues.

1. Is there a way to provide a "Recently used" function in the side pane?

2. I miss a search function like in nautilus where I can search for example for "*.pdf* and it shows me only all pdf files. CTRL+F as well as CTRL+S is not quite what I'm looking for.

1) no idea

2) I have a program called catfish installed. I set up a custom action in thunar to use catfish as a search engine.

Name : Search
Description : Search
Command : catfish --fileman=thunar --path=%d

On the appearance tab I put a "*" in File Pattern and clicked on all the fields so that I always have the option when I right click.
