battery monitor suggestions

what would be the best battery monitor? i found batmon in AUR but it has been flagged out of date for quite some time and i couldnt find any via google.

newarch2011, what window manager or desktop environment are you using?

I'd recommend the following regardless:

man acpi

i added a battery monitor to my panel but it doesnt seem to reflect the actual battery life. for instance running

acpi b

it says 90% but the icon shows 100%.
edit: i am using openbox with lxde.

The LXDE battery monitor doesn't work, I had this same issue on my laptop so wrote my own battery monitor which you can find here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=126192

Unfortunately it has some bugs and my laptop has been sent away on warranty so I haven't been able to fix them.

Do a search for battery in the aur and it brings up a whole page of monitors. Try a few of them out.
