Mysterious issues with fancontrol

I just bought a for my cpu(amd athlon x2 5400+ stock clocked) oversized cooler(CM 212+) to really silent my system, however, my bios fan voltage only goes down to 4 volts, the fan runs @ ~900rom, it's rated to go down to 600. While it's quiet I can still hear the windnoise over my chassi fan. So I figured I'd use some other control software and found lm-sensors. Configured it and modules are loaded, and the sensors command gives me this;

atk0110-acpi-0
Adapter: ACPI interface
Vcore Voltage:      +1.14 V  (min =  +0.80 V, max =  +1.80 V)
 +3.3 Voltage:      +3.25 V  (min =  +2.97 V, max =  +3.63 V)
 +5 Voltage:        +5.02 V  (min =  +4.50 V, max =  +5.50 V)
 +12 Voltage:      +12.09 V  (min = +10.20 V, max = +13.80 V)
CPU FAN Speed: 907 RPM (min = 600 RPM)
CHASSIS FAN Speed: 0 RPM (min = 1200 RPM)
CPU Temperature:    +33.0°C  (high = +60.0°C, crit = +95.0°C)
MB Temperature:     +37.0°C  (high = +45.0°C, crit = +95.0°C)

k8temp-pci-00c3
Adapter: PCI adapter
Core0 Temp:   +30.0°C
Core0 Temp:   +28.0°C
Core1 Temp:   +21.0°C
Core1 Temp:   +27.0°C

it8712-isa-0290
Adapter: ISA adapter
in0:          +1.14 V  (min =  +0.00 V, max =  +4.08 V)
in1:          +4.08 V  (min =  +0.00 V, max =  +4.08 V)  ALARM
in2:          +3.25 V  (min =  +0.00 V, max =  +4.08 V)
+5V:          +4.08 V  (min =  +0.00 V, max =  +4.08 V)  ALARM
in4:          +3.18 V  (min =  +0.00 V, max =  +4.08 V)
in5:          +1.57 V  (min =  +0.00 V, max =  +4.08 V)
in6:          +4.08 V  (min =  +0.00 V, max =  +4.08 V)  ALARM
5VSB:         +4.08 V  (min =  +0.00 V, max =  +4.08 V)  ALARM
Vbat:         +3.14 V
fan1:         907 RPM  (min =    0 RPM)
fan2:           0 RPM  (min =    0 RPM)
fan3:           0 RPM  (min =    0 RPM)
temp1:        +33.0°C  (low  =  -1.0°C, high = +127.0°C)  sensor = thermistor
temp2:        +37.0°C  (low  =  -1.0°C, high = +127.0°C)  sensor = thermistor
temp3:       -128.0°C  (low  =  -1.0°C, high = +127.0°C)  sensor = disabled

k8temp reports some strange temps for some reason. Now, pwmconfig works just fine it stops the cpu fan as it should and starts it again, and then slows it down gradually during the test. But when I run fancontrol I get this;

Loading configuration from /etc/fancontrol ...

Common settings:
  INTERVAL=10

Settings for hwmon2/device/pwm1:
  Depends on hwmon0/temp1_input
  Controls hwmon2/device/fan1_input+hwmon0/fan1_input
  MINTEMP=40
  MAXTEMP=60
  MINSTART=150
  MINSTOP=0
  MINPWM=0
  MAXPWM=150

Error: file hwmon2/device/pwm1 doesn't exist
Error: file hwmon2/device/fan1_input+hwmon0/fan1_input doesn't exist

At least one referenced file is missing. Either some required kernel
modules haven't been loaded, or your configuration file is outdated.
In the latter case, you should run pwmconfig again.

Also, "echo "255" > /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon0/device/pwm1" doing that also says pwm1 doesn't exists, however all the sensors show up in the hwmon directories. But how can pwmconfig adjust speed when pwm1 doesnt exist?

Here's is the pwmconfig output; http://pastebin.com/vw3Lb8vk

edit; perhaps this is better suited in kernel&hardware? move?:)

Moved to Kernel & Hardware as demanded.

jigsawman, could you please include those listings in [ code ] tags. This will improve readability.
