Ugly font in Gnome-Terminal

Yesterday I decided to switch back to 64 bit Arch on my desktop. I installed Gnome and everything went smoothly, but after I was done I noticed that the fonts in the gnome-terminal are really messed up (see link below). I have xorg fonts and ttf-dejavu installed which is usually all I need for fonts... I also downloaded terminator and it has the same problem... This doesn't affect any other aspect of my desktop, just my terminals... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Ugly font in Gnome-Terminal

You should configure your fonts through Gnome Tweak Tool. Or tell gnome-terminal to use a specific font:

Edit > Profile Preferences > General
Unchek "Use the system fixed width font"
Select a font
