X dies every now and than. I'm not sure why

Hi.

Every now and than, X dies. I am using gnome 3 on a Lenovo thinkpad edge 13'' machine (intel gracphic card).

This usually happen when I go into a web page on a web borwser(chromium/firefox/conkeror) but recently, it happens under the following scheme:

conkeror is open on what ever page.
I have two tabs on the terminal:
tab 1: ssh channel is open to a remote machine.
tab 2: my home directory in the remote machine is mounted (sshfs) in a local directery and a file is edited in emacs under -nw mode (no window).

When I press ctrl+E in emacs (not every time), X crashes. I know I should post a log file here but I don't know which. I am adding a segment from X.0.log.old which might be relevant:

[ 2028.156] Segmentation fault at address 0xb4f41008
[ 2028.156]
Fatal server error:
[ 2028.156] Caught signal 11 (Segmentation fault). Server aborting
